| I remember Camp Waubecca Copake, NY. I went
to Summer camp there once or twice, and would go up there on the
weekends. I still have my Eagle Scout Medal and the Bronxville Village
Medal. I joined the Air force and went over seas in
WW II Fifth Air Force Wing upon returning from the war attended,
Tuffs University, Class of 1949 with a History and Economics Major, was
married in 1952 to Virginia Brent from Boston. Moved to Mt. Kisco in
1952. Worked for Publisher of Glamour Magazine Conde nast Publications. When
to work for a Parachute Manufacturer in NYC and North Carolina. Worked
for Sikorsky Aircraft for 19 Years, then Bridge Port Hospital for 16
Years as President of the Bridgeport Hospital Foundation, retired in
1988. Moved to Venice Florida, also maintains a home in Fairfield Ct.
Daughter lives in Cape Cod, Son lives in Westchester PA, Friends in the
troop as a boy were Bob MacLaughlin and Al Pryibil.
I remember when the Troops would have a Jamboree at the Cabin and stay there for a few days and people would come from all around to see the Scouts. |
