Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge, class 2

This is a very important recruitment event with the Pack, we need these boys
to bring the troop to life in the coming years.

The Twin Lakes parking lot is located on California road about 1/4 mile
south of Mill Road.

Directions take the Hutchinson River Parkway north to Exit 17 North Ave, New
Rochelle.
Make a Left at the exit, and head north about 1/4 mile.
Make a Left at the Traffic light onto Mill Road. (This is Light one)
You will go over the parkway.
At the next traffic light make a Left onto California Road.
The park is the woods on your Left.
Proceed along California road until you can make your first left into the
River Ridge Horse Stable/ Twin Lakes Park Parking lot.

Please be there at 2:15PM on Saturday Afternoon, rain or shine.

The troop is at site 35, this is marked on the map, and parking is available in Site 34, it is a very easy site to get gear into. You may notice the Trail Symbol on the left side of the map near beaver pond. That is the trail that the boys planned on walking on. If it snows, please put a snow shovel in your car. If the roads are icy, then if you don't have 4 wheel drive, then please have chains for your car. This camp in not 2 wheel drive friendly in the icy weather.
