January Troop Committee Meeting Agenda

Troop expenses, a handout of the troop finances will be distributed at the meeting, including outstanding bills and a list of current assets. People who we owe money to include Peter, Tony, William.

Recruitment of new scouts needs to be addressed.

To participate in scouting events parents need to take the Boy Scout "Child abuse protection awareness" training.  I can run this course at the committee meeting after the business is completed.

I need help on the overnights, Joe Leo and I have been attending all the overnights, I need other parents to share the responsibility on these trips. Trips are listed below.

January - Klondike Derby at West Point and a sleep over at the cabin.

February - Martin Luther Kink Ski weekend.

March - Cabin camping near the beach at Baiting Hallow Scout Camp on Long Island

April - Bicycle riding overnight.

May - Camp-O-Ree

June - Court of Honor and Eagle Scout ceremonies.

July - Jamboree

August - Summer camp, I would like many parents to have the opportunity of spending a few days at camp with their son, Could you please consider spending 3 days at camp some time during the week. If all the parents took turns that would be great.
