WHEN? Friday afternoon and evening, May 31st to Sunday morning, June 2nd
VERY IMPORTANT! -There may not be any water available at the preserve.
Everyone bring bottles, containers, etc. of clean water.
-Above ground fires for cooking and campfires ONLY.
NO FIRES OR MATCHES NEAR ANY WOODED AREAS.
-There are no tables. Bring chairs and tables.
COMPETITIONS: Try to conduct them in or near your campsite.
Patrols will visit campsites from 9:30 AM to 3 PM on
Saturday. Each competition will have its own point
system and minimum points for participation:
First Aid, T-1-B
Kim’s Game, T-12-Y
Fire Building, T-109-MV
Lash A Tripod, John Hradsky
Knot Rack & Tying, T-47-Y
Blind Tent Erecting, T-29-Y
Orienteering/Compass, T-4-B Totin &
Chip, T-1-C
(Bring patrol materials like matches, ropes, compass, hatchets,
knives, AND A LOG OR TWO FOR THE CAMPFIRE).
CAMPING: Jamboree style with Troop Entrance Way (10 points/patrol),
Patrol flags (10 pts./patrol), propane stoves, Scout shirts or
Scout t-shirts recommended.
COST: If troops pay on or before the roundtable night, May 2nd, $6.00
per boy. After May 2nd, $7.00 per boy. Extra patches for adults,
etc. will be on a first come, first served basis at $1.75 each.

CAMPFIRE & CRACKERBARREL:
Steve Celentano, District Activities Chairman and Kris Komorowski, Campfire Chairman will be in charge. One
skit and one song/patrol. Crackerbarrel open both nights. Leaders meeting about 10 PM both Friday and Saturday nights. Taps and lights out at 11 PM.
CAMPOREE GUIDE AND GENERAL RULES
Because of the extreme dry conditions, all matches and fires are banned except for the fire building competition, at campsites and the campfires. We especially invite the two new troops to attend. We especially invite the two new troops to attend. Patrols should be natural patrols from home with a patrol leader in charge. Junior leaders and adult leaders should not compete in competitions and are welcome to help the staff. At least two adult leaders are required to be in attendance with their unit at all times and to camp with their troop.
